Stayed at the hotel for New Year's Eve and it was wonderful. The staff, Bart and Jennifer, really worked to accommodate us and the other guests. The room was spacious and quiet with comfortable beds. The turtle drop happens right from the hotel, so the location was ideal. The island is wonderful in winter.

Accommodated us with an early check in. The front desk lady was so nice an friendly. Our bag was brought from the ferry to the hotel and then to our room. Our room was spacious and we had a balcony overlooking main street. Beds were very comfortable, provided cleaning each day as well as in evening turned down our beds and left chocolates on our pillows. Definitely would stay again

From check in to check out, we loved this hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Large, comfortable suites. Milk and cookies delivered in the evenings. Located on the main street and very close to the ferry made it the perfect hotel. I loved the artwork on the elevator door.

I have always wanted to stay at a hotel on Mackinac Island. I wasn't sure if we could figure out how all of the luggage worked, which place to stay at, which Bed & Breakfast or what hotel. All of them look great. But, I've had my eye on the Lilac hotel for a long time. I've always wanted me & my husband to stay here. I am so thankful that we did. I cannot wait to come back next time. We are super grateful that we decided to stay here. The hotel is very beautiful & exquisite. Although we only had a short visit, we loved every single moment of us being at your hotel. Next time we will stay there at least 3 or 4 days. If there was a 10 star rating, your hotel would be it. The room was beyond what we could imagine. Very clean, very decorated well; and had everything that we needed. Thank you so much for having such a great hotel with great staff. Very remarkable & exquisite place to stay. Can't wait to come back again!

Renee at check-in was very friendly and efficient. Our room was very large, very clean, very beautiful, and very comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect for anything downtown. You can walk anywhere in just a few minutes. We had breakfast at the pink pony across the street, and it was delicious. The service was wonderful and so were the mimosas!

The staff! The BEST! Amazing room, check in was super fast and easy. Great location, the room was beautiful! We loved our stay. Honestly, the people are just so friendly..the night security guard even sang Happy Birthday to me in the hall!
Truly a fantastic weekend at the Lilac Tree. Can’t wait to go back!

When staying on Mackinac Island the Lilac Tree is First Choice! We have been going to Mackinac Island for over 30 years and find that Lilac to the be the best accommodations on the island! This day was no different as our room was ready and well maintained and cleaned with a staff that is always friendly! We also love the fact that even though the Lilac is located right on Main Street it is always very quiet!

This was a girls weekend and the first time for all of us staying overnight on the island. The hotel was great, the room was amazing and the staff was so friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are so spacious and clean and you are right on Main Street but it is still so quiet.

I would just like to say that we had another wonderful visit to the Lilac Tree this year.. we have been coming to the island every October for 9 years now,, The Lilac Tree is such a beautiful and delightful place to stay,, it has never disappointed us in any way,, we always hate leaving there.. everything is so clean and they are all so accommodating and friendly there..we wouldn’t stay anywhere else! See you next year!

This was top notch and the hotel staff were outstanding. The room was very large and had everything you needed. Very clean. The furniture in the suite was very comfortable. They had added touches in the courtyard area with hot cocoa, smores, hot dogs , mints and coffee complimentary. Can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay.
